From the very start of the project it was obvious that Mr James Bleeks and his team including sons Brendan, James Jnr and site foreman Mr Sean Paul Harte are very professional and experienced in constructing large scale projects. Once terms had been agreed J&A arrived on site and worked consistently to the demanding time table which had been set by the ending of our lease on our previous premises. We employed our own Quantity Surveyor and Project Managers and were delighted to hear their very positive comments about the quality of the workmanship and can do approach shown by J&A and their team. We had received several quotations for the construction of this building including some big names in the construction business and while there may be a comfort in choosing a large well known firm we chose J&A because unlike others they are very much hands on managing the project every day ensuring that the correct strength and depth of concrete etc is used. We are considering building another unit in a couple of years time and rather than go through the torturous task of seeking quotations and all that the process entails will simply ask J&A for their quotation. Having gone through the process twice now I can’t recommend J&A highly enough to anyone who wants a well constructed building built on time and within budget.

It had been a pleasant, hassle free project to be involved with and the works quality plus the lack of any significant defects, illustrates the success of the project. In addition the project has been completed ahead of the contract completion date.

It became very clear to us, through the quality and speed of construction on that project, that we were very interested to contract J&A construction for our project too. After a tendering process and terms agreed with J&A ,they arrived to site in October 2015 to start phase 1 which included a 32000sq foot warehouse and 12,000sq foot offices, 10,000sq foot vehicle maintenance unit and concreted HGV yard, with a goal to complete the project by June 2016, due to the expiry of our lease at our previous premises. We were very new to this type of project, so we employed a project team consisting of architect, quantity surveyor and civil engineer designer to overview and liaise with J&A construction on the project. Our project team were very happy to work alongside James and his team Brendan, James jnr and Quantity Surveyor Ciaran and were very positive to the attitude, quality of construction, and a can-do approach, in dealing with any issue the project threw at us.

The team has a very hands on approach to managing construction and it was very clear to us that they had the knowledge and skill to tackle this size of project. After building the first phase, which completed in June 2016, it was very shortly after, that we realized we had to start phase 2 and we had no hesitation in contracting J&A construction for our extension to our warehouse, extension to our yard and car parks. That project was even easier to manage due to the understanding and confidence we gained through the first project. We are currently planning a 3^rd phase and have awarded this to J&A Construction Ltd., which will start in October 2019. We have no hesitation in recommending any company who wish to construct any size project built to the highest standards, on time and within budget to employ J&A Construction (NI) Ltd to meet those requirements.
